The following is a non-exhaustive list of heater types, along with a brief description of each. Each type incorporates Polymer Thick Film technology.
* Fixed Resistance on PET Film - This highly flexible technology is compatible with a wide range of applications. Most size, shape, wattage and voltage requirements can be met using this technology.
* Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) on PET Film - This type of flexible heating element is primarily incorporated in automotive applications. This system often eliminates the need for a temperature-regulating device, as its properties are such that it regulates its own wattage output according to temperature.
* Continuous Web on PET Film - Using state-of-the-art screen printing equipment, thermo is able to manufacture very long heaters to help customers overcome a variety of technical challenges.
* UltraflexT Fabric Heater - Recent technological advances in Polymer Thick Film technology have enabled us to develop our new Soft-line Ultraflex(tm) line of flexible heaters. These heaters are manufactured using a special fabric are extremely flexible, light and remarkably soft.
* Thermofol® Water Resistant Heaters - By encapsulating our standard PTF heaters, we have developed a system ideal for application in moist or wet environs.
* Fixed Resistance on PEN Film - The flexible substrate polyethylene naphthalate is used when an increase in operating temperature is required. With a 160 degree Celsius RTI, it is a cost effective film with performance between that of polyethylene terephthatlate (PET) and polyamide films. |
